Chairperson This is the most important
operational position of them all. This person needs to be the driving force of
the whole thing, constantly bringing fresh ideas and encouraging others to do
so. To chair committee meetings. This position is the natural link with the
outside world and should be pro-active in fighting the association's corner in
every respect. Should also liaise with outside bodies and share fund-raising
and marketing duties with vice.
Vice-Chairperson To deputise in all ways in the absence of the
chairperson.
Treasurer To be totally
aware at all times of the current financial situation and keep Chairman and
committee informed at all times. Must take appropriate action as and when
items due to the Assoc. are outstanding. Must make financial recommendations
to the committee to ensure best practice/cash flow.To produce an annual forecast
and show periodic performance at all meetings.
Secretary To understudy both the Chair and the Vice-Chair
Fund-raising
secretary To be responsible for
ensuring applications for funds from outside sources are done
correctly.
Minutes Secretary To produce the minutes of all meetings in an
accurate and professional manner. To support membership secretary with
accurate information.
Membership Secretary To work closely with minute
secretary
Press & PR Officer To
liaise with outside bodies and ensure we are represented in the best
way.
Other Committee Members Street representatives, must be there for a
reason and make positive contribution.
